I am technically a “lifestyle” photographer, but I really lean towards documentary. This can be different and feel different if you aren’t used to it- but I think it can even be easier with young children!

the process
My time for my shoots is based on lighting, and this is typically either early morning or evening. Or your home.
My shoots tend to begin to feel more like we are just hanging out, and I will just be shooting as we go. I shoot the whole time. This means that I get a lot of things happening as you don’t realize it or little detail shots.
In the end, I think these are the ones that the clients end up continuing to come back to again and again. They are the moments when your family was just being your family.
As a result, I tend to deliver a lot of images to my families. Often in the ballpark of 200+ images. It’s also why I give the images to my clients. I am a mom and I want them for myself as well. One day those babies aren’t babies anymore and I want to know that I can pull them up and look at them at any time. Or that when they get married I can go back and look at their cute tushie and the time I held it just so.
after our session
My typical work-flow is to have your edited/color-corrected photos up for you to look at within 3-5 business days. (Unless it is Film.)
You will receive a link to a gallery with your edited images available for download. You will also have the ability to order any prints or books should you decide to.
Your gallery will remain up for about 2 months and then it will close.
